President's unique approach still drives UCF

In his inaugural address from November 19, 1992, UCF President John C. Hitt outlined the partnership approach that would propel much of UCF’s success in the decades ahead. Many of UCF’s signature achievements – including the UCF College of Medicine, the Florida High Tech Corridor Council, and the Direct Connect to UCF program – originated from partnerships among UCF and other organizations, governments, and businesses. Dr. Hitt's inaugural address also introduced his five key goals that continue to guide UCF today. On March 1, 2012, the president marked his 20th anniversary at UCF.
